Hi! My name is Daniela and I am 16 years old and I am a rising junior in High School. I really enjoy reading, playing sports, and volunteering. I love reading all types of books whether fiction or non-fiction. I like to swim, play soccer, tennis, volleyball and I would really love to learn many more.

I realized I love to help out. Whether its around the house or in the community, I love to help in any way possible. In 6th grade I was in a program called Best Buddies and I would volunteer to help with kids with disabilities, we became good friends with them and made their afternoons special, normal. I am also in the National Honors Society since freshman year and I really like it because we get to do volunteer activities and go not only around the community but in the city as well. One example of something i volunteered for was the NYC Marathon last November in which I had to volunteer giving water and gatorade to the runners and it was really fun but tiring because it lasted around 7 hours. It was really worth it and fun too. I feel like volunteering and doing these types of things around the community is really good because it shows your devotion to helping people and I feel like if you're trying to get a successful future it won't be possible if people don't see your commitment.
I really like k-pop hence the picture. I've liked this genre of music since I was like 11. I used to watch alot of k-drama and it was really fascinating since the beginning. I liked alot of groups like GOT7, EXO, MONSTAX, BTS, Blackpink, Twice and many more. I don't listen to it as much but I feel like this will always be part of me in a way.
I love to skateboard as well. I find it really fun and even though i fall alot I feel like it's much more funner that way and its just a very good type of exercise.
